Under 7's - Bognor Rugby Club

Welcome to the Under 7's team at Bognor Rugby Club.

The Bognor under 7's are all about making the introduction to rugby fun! We currently have 15/20 regular players from age 6 to 7 years. The training consists of lots of running, playing games and making lots of noise. The under 7's use tag belts which they pull from the player instead of tackling. We welcome children from 5 years to come along. Parents are required to stay on site with the children and are always welcome to join in with the training. Rugby is a great sport and a great way to introduce your child to sportsmanship, discipline and fairplay while enjoying some outdoor fun!

MINI AWARDS AWAY DAY

Please read poster in clubhouse re our Awards Presentation day on May 12th. Tickets will be on sale from Sunday 10th February.

You can buy 1 ticket a week or all together it's up to you how you want to spead the cost.

Adults will be £15 and ALL registered players up to 18yrs and siblings up to age 16 go for £5.

The ticket price includes transport to and from, Buffet lunch, entertainment. Ticket price remains the same regardless of whether you use transport or not and the last transfer back will be around 9pm transport details will be arranged in more detail when we know what kind of take up we get.

The day will be much more than just the presentation and Bunn leisure are happy for us to use thier facilities over the whole day and evening.

A photographer will also be on site so you can get affordable family/team/friend shots on the day.

Training & New Players

We welcome all children in school year 4. The under 9's year is the introduction to contact rugby. Players will not be permitted to play in matches until they have received sufficient training in tackling safely. The scrums and lineouts are introduced for teaching purposes and so are uncontested (no pressure).
