On the 14th and 15th of April 2007, Bognor Rugby Club hosted the South Coast Festival of Rugby with their partners Team Tours Direct 46 different clubs brought teams from under 7 to under 13 to Bognor and under 14 to under 16 youth and under 15 and 17 girls were hosted by Portsmouth RFC on the same two days, teams from all counties and from Scotland , Wales and Ireland played 2 days of fantastic rugby in glorious weather. The trophies and titles were spread amongst the Clubs evenly at all age groups.

On Sunday 3rd December the U16’s enjoyed a mornings golf followed by a trip to Pizza Hut. The day was organised to celebrate their unbeaten start to the season, and was kindly sponsored by Roger Hammond (Wally), Bognor’s 1st Team manager.

Despite heavy rain at 9am the sky’s cleared just before tee off and the sun shone throughout the morning. Prizes were awarded to Ben Blewitt for the best individual round, Neil Herbert for the worst display of golfing prowess ever, and to Kim Trethewey. Tommy Gun, Lee Hill and Andy Crowe for the best team score. Jamie Smith received a teddy bear to help him manage his anger issues.

23 lads, 7 adults, and one teddy bear all had a great day
